About me

I have a range of job experiences - from counseling, customer service, and being a trainer. My journey has led me to UX design where I believe all of my experience comes together. I have learned that teamwork, clear communication, and vision are essential in a project succeeding. When making my mini-game, I learned how to bring assets into Unity from Maya and Photoshop. I also learned how to create simple animations in Unity and Maya. While working on my UX certificate, I learned Figma and Adobe XD where I made wireframes and prototypes and sent these out for user testing. I worked on a research study and decided on what KPIs to evaluate. I also practiced analyzing the feedback and coming up with insights on how to improve the design. I am truly an empathic person and that is one reason I am drawn to UX/UI. I am a great communicator and listener and love to hear how people feel about their experiences. I am at my best when I am on a team of creative people, bouncing ideas off of each other, and working on a project. As a previous corporate trainer and teacher, I have excellent communication skills and desire for there to be open communication about issues and problems that arise in order for the problem to be solved. I have been promoted at every job that I have had. I say this to demonstrate that I have an inner drive to do my best at any job and push myself to learn and grow. Even if I don't know something at first, I will learn and figure it out.
