About me

My name is Harry Cunnew, I am currently a Visual Merchandising Manager for a large high street retailer but am looking to expand my horizons and take a new career change doing my true passion, which is illustration and design especially within the entertainment industry.

I am a self-taught illustrator in the field of anime, manga, comic and character design. I have been illustrating for around 17 years but in the last 10 as a freelance illustrator mainly making logos and imagery for other brands and companies. I have a great knowledge of colour balance and silhouette making to create exciting and innovative illustrations and designs. I am confident in my abilities for project research and mood board creation, as this is something I do when it comes to creating new artwork.

I studied illustration for 3 years at the London College of Fashion being taught by top illustrators within the field who taught us how to create figure drawings, how to render and draw fabric and how to create movement within garments as well as looking at creating concepts and mood/story boards for original projects looking at everything from make up style, trends and the overall look of the design for the subject.
