About me

I am a amateur illustrator with a keen love of nature. My favourite subjects are birds & parrots but I can draw any subjects required. I am 31 years old living in Oxford, UK and I have always enjoyed art and drawing. I have achieved a Distinction in MA Illustration from Falmouth University, grade A in AS-level Fine Art and grade A* in GCSE Art. I have also completed an online short course on natural history illustration with The University of Newcastle, Australia. I have recently signed a publishing contract with Dixi Books for my children's book called 'Alfie's Adventures', due to be released in February 2022.

My scientific education in biology, zoology & ornithology helps complement my illustrations. I have gained a Certificate of Higher Education in Zoology at The University of Bristol, grade A in A-level Biology and Chemistry, and grade A* in GCSE Science. I also have a Distinction level Diploma in Ornithology.

I work hard to bring the natural world to life in my own unique style — using mainly traditional illustration techniques which I also apply to digital (Procreate on iPad Pro). I have a very strong eye for detail due to my Asperger's Syndrome (Autistic Spectrum Disorder).
