I've been in a 20-year, on-and-off, love-and-hate relationship with advertising. No matter what side-quest I take up, all roads lead back to the main quest-line: cracking briefs, strategising narratives and dreaming up stories for brands.
Since 2023, I've been serving as Chief Creative Officer at VML Malaysia, having climbed the ranks from ACD to ECD over a span of 4 years at ensemble worldwide/MBCS, the creative subsidiary of IPG Mediabrands Malaysia.
I was named Campaign Asia's 40 Under 40 in 2020, ranked 3rd as Campaign Asia's Top Creatives in Malaysia in 2021 and led my previous agency to Gold Creative Agency of the Year in 2022.
When not wrangling data, creativity and futurism at work, I lose myself in YouTube and Reddit rabbit holes, absorbing and retaining very useless facts about all sorts of everything.
TL;DR, I game a lot, I daydream a lot, and I care a hell of a lot about my creative teams.
