About me

Born in Seville, Spain. After studying Business Management in Universidad de Málaga, Javi continued his education at Miami Ad School Madrid, where he teamed up with American creative Alex Katz. After working at several renowned agencies like Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Shackleton and Cheil, in 2016 the two decided to branch off and start their own independent agency, Officer & Gentleman. Since then, they've created work for clients like Pornhub, Paddy Power or Booking that have been recognized at some of the world's most prestigious advertising festivals, including Cannes Lions, The One Show and The Clio Awards among others.

Together, they have taught advertising to students at Miami Ad School Madrid and The Atomic Garden, and working as mentors for the Invisible Creatives initiative. In addition, the two have given talks about advertising and creativity in Amsterdam, Cannes, Kiev, Madrid and Zagreb.
