This new digital font not only contains the latest font technology but also years of lettering experience of its designer Ulrike Rausch. LiebeHeide is a digital script font that authentically reproduces the writing of a ballpoint pen. A combination of OpenType features and color font technology makes this typographic miracle possible.
LiebeHeide is based on high-res digitized ballpoint pen writings with lots of ligatures and alternate letters. Typical handwriting attributes like symbols and doodles, up to underlines and lots of strikethroughs give this typeface its charm. Most symbols are easily accessible because they assemble automatically, for example the heart from <3, a smiley face from :-) or arrows from -> and -->. In total LiebeHeide contains almost 500 glyphs.
