I've developed and deployed marketing strategies for businesses in a whole range of sectors, including film, TV, music, fashion, charity, electronics, e-commerce and FMCG and I have first-hand experience of taking a business from zero to being a key player within the industry.

Big Night
Marketing & Communications Lead - Freelance
September 2020 - Present
My current role with the food delivery challenger brand, Big Night, saw me join the team in
the early stages where they had only 5 restaurants on the platform, servicing small areas of
London, with a small Instagram following of 1,000. Since being the Marketing &
Communications Lead, we have grown the platform to include 30 restaurants, recently
launched the business nationwide, secured coverage in The Economist, been named the
'coolest delivery service' by Time Out, surpassed our Seedrs investment target of £100,000
by an additional £150,000, and many more key milestones.
My responsibilities include managing the Social Media Manager, freelance copywriter,
branding agency, ads strategist and publicist to ensure all are working towards achieving the
business' ambitious goals. This has seen me recruit the marketing and communications
team, develop the businesses growth strategies with the founders, and help secure over
£1m revenue for the restaurants we partner with, and develop a wide range of brand
advocates in the form of chefs, critics and influencers which has resulted in us securing over
15.8k Instagram followers in a short period.

Working with Artisan Coffee and their associated brands since June 2020 has seen me take
on various roles for the business. Primarily, I have acted as their lead marketer, managing
their designer, web developer and paid ads team to improve and grow their various
businesses, as well as helping develop their at-home subscription service in all aspects;
from pricing to packaging; copy to content; and advertising to influencers. My work with the
team has seen huge engagement with key campaigns, as well as the introduction of new
revenue streams for the businesses, and a growth in repeat custom.

Glug Wine Merchants is a London-based wine shop which recently introduced an at-home
wine subscription service to their offering. Through a kind recommendation by the Artisan /
Curious Roo team, I was approached to help Glug with the writing of coffee for their website,
as well as writing their monthly tasting guide and newsletter, provided with each
subscription. Furthermore, I consult with the brand on customer growth and social media to
assist in their business goals.

As Global Strategy Director, I was responsible for ensuring all of our marketing campaigns
throughout the UK, EMEA and USA achieve the goals of our clients, but also go beyond to
deliver them the best ROI we could.
Leading a team of strategists, creatives and copywriters, we conceptualised, created and
delivered campaigns for clients primarily in the entertainment industry across multiple
formats, with a particular focus on social and digital. My main roster of clients within the
