About me

I have a background in Fashion Design, working in licensing and accessory design. Having had a fascination with illustration while studying Fashion Design, constantly seeking out colour stories in varied places, scouring interior images, textile textures and preliminary sketch pages in museums. I decided to progress into illustration full-time was a natural step when commissions and wedding stationery requests began taking up lots of my little hours. A multidisciplinary illustrator and designer, I take inspiration from studies and snapshots of everyday life in garden and city details.

I likes to approach each project from a personal point of view, taking the stories and backgrounds of clients to inform a unique, fresh vision, that neither of them may have dreamt up alone. Research and development is a the part of my work that I find so interesting, learning about the service or product the client is offering. I always aim for collaborators and clients to feel heard, understood and special.

After 10 years in New York, I moved back to Dublin in June 2020.
