About me
I have a strong fashion retail background and therefore am very aware of the importance of excellent visual merchandising for a customers shopping experience. I also have visual merchandising experience from working in fashion retail. This experience includes floor moves, window dressing, mannequin dressing and merchandising in store on a regular basis.
I also have a HND in fashion Course covered a variety of subject areas, including design and manufacture, fabric awareness, sewing, pattern drafting, as well as theoretical studies. Areas covered: womenswear design, menswear design, fashion illustration, research skills for design practice, toile and prototype development, experimental and traditional pattern cutting, 'live' projects with industry, CAD and digital media for fashion, portfolio presentation skills, contemporary issues.
