Hello
I'm Lauren and I'm a professional proofreader based in Peterborough. I completed my training with the Publishing Training Centre in 2007 and have since proofread dissertations, books, business documents and articles in a wide variety of subjects. I have a special interest in healthcare, medicine, environmental issues, spirituality, psychology, education and philosophy.
I am particularly interested in proofreading for self-publishing authors, ethical businesses, postgraduate students and not-for-profit organisations. I have vast experience in proofreading for international students and writers for whom English is a second language.
I check for errors in spelling, grammar and punctuation. I also check that the text is clear and consistent, adding comments and suggestions as appropriate. I use 'track changes' in Word so you can maintain full control over your work.
