About me

After studying fashion design womenswear at Central Saint Martins I have experience with pattern cutting, garment development print and textile design as well as conceptualisation. I have previously worked for several design companies making patterns toiling, and designing. In my own practice I have designed and made many garments as well as developed and designed prints through CAD. I have experience in many areas such as photography, drawing and illustration. I am skilled at adobe illustrator and I am highly capable of doing technical drawings for manufacture. I think I would be good for this role as I am independent and able to do self led work - I also have a lot of experience working in a team and I am therefore good at communicating. Whilst working at Haal I was in charge of dye and colour experimentation and decisions for the collection therefore I have knowledge of fabric features and qualities. Whilst at Namilia I did a lot of pattern drafting and garment development. Whilst working for British Mustard I was in charge of overseeing collections from start to finish from drawing and drafting first designs, development and designing prints to developing garments to the point of production- this shows my ability to perform each stage in garment production. As well as this I have experience managing a team this has taught me how to be organised and multitask.
