About me
Since I first started studying media at City of Westminster College, I have had many interests and curiosities within the film industry. I started as an editor and colourist, making low budget high-quality videos for YouTube early on. As time went by, I took a brief interest in Production as I would usually take the lead in college projects, but never gained any further interest as I wasn't inspired by it.
In my early years of university, I took the opportunity to learn more roles within the industry, I learned about camera work, cinematography (even ending up taking gigs as cinematographer), Sound production, editing and finally landing where I felt the strongest connection, Visual FX and animation.
I quickly learned 3D modelling, in my 3rd class I found myself fairly ahead of my class, as my teacher told me that I was in the wrong course and I should've been taking Animation instead. When my colleagues were learning basic modelling, making tables and candles, I was attempting to model my first plane, and by the end of the unit I managed to get an A-, due to my overconfidence, I attempted a tracking shot of a spaceship I already had modelled coming out of my computer's screen with a handheld shot. I didn't manage to deliver this on time, knocking some points off my grade, but creative particle effects in Houdini, complex 3D models made in Maya and After Effects compositing landed me a higher grade.
Ever since I have found small success selling 3D assets online and making motion graphic videos for companies.
