About me
I am a strong writer and researcher, I am proficient in social media and digital platforms, I know how to use CMS softwares such as Wordpress, I can navigate interactive websites, and I have experience in journalism and media.
I enjoy working with a team as well as independently, and I am always keen to meet new people and build rapport with them. I am very talkative, approachable, and friendly while maintaining a degree of professionalism. Organisation and time management are also significant to me, as I like to be prepared and ensure I always meet deadlines and produce a high standard of work.
While completing my journalism degree, I learnt how to write for an array of subjects ranging from lifestyle, entertainment, news, politics, and crime. I also developed a variety of skills including; writing news stories and features, arranging and conducting interviews, researching and fact-checking stories, and producing my own data reports. As well as this, I also had to be proactive and brimming with ideas, and I learnt how to get articles, blogs and studies published across various platforms using SEO.
As a recent graduate, these skills are fresh and I believe the skills I have acquired from my work experiences and university will be beneficial for this role. I would love to build on these skills while gaining new ones as I am always willing to work hard and adapt to new environments. This role is something I know I will enjoy and I will put in the work and effort required.
