About me

I've been a freelance journalist since 2009 and worked in publishing prior to that. Based near Chelmsford, Essex, ideally I'm looking for remote work in the field of subbing or content writing/editorship.

I'm currently the part-time Editor of Celebrity Secrets magazine; published by Hurst Media Company and distributed by Reach PLC in OK! bumper packs between four to six times a year. I was also until very recently the Editor of the B2B publication Attire Bridal, which has sadly closed due to the pandemic. This gives me experience in both consumer and trade publications.

I write about a wide variety of subjects, from health and beauty to parenting, travel, celebrity interviews and general interest - just Google 'Claire Muffett-Reece' and you'll see my name pop up covering many different topics. With my work published in titles including the Metro, Evening Standard, Cosmopolitan and Fabulous, I was also the Sub Editor of luxury watch and lifestyle publication OT Magazine for two years.
