Gregory Calum Hughes (BCom, MBA) is a British-born businessman (46 years old) presently Chief Executive Officer at boutique private equity firms Infixion Asset Holdings (UK) Ltd and Infixion Asset Holdings (Pty) Ltd.

After completing his service in the South African Navy, he pursued a long career in media and publishing across the globe (UK; USA; Europe; Asia; and Africa) culminating during 2009 in Gregory, at that time the company's South African CEO, acquiring the South African publishing businesses and property interests of IHS South Africa from its US parent company (NYSE:IHS) and forming Infixion Media (Pty) Ltd and Infixion Properties (Pty) Ltd under holding company Infixion Asset Holdings (Pty) Ltd. He subsequently sold the entirety of Infixion's media and publishing businesses to Naspers-subsidiary, Media24, during 2014 (JSE: NPN).

Gregory reorganized Infixion Asset Holdings (Pty) Ltd into a small Private Equity firm with a primary focus investing into start-ups and small businesses within South Africa, holding varying interests and ownership in diverse entities. In 2019, Infixion Asset Holdings (UK) Ltd was established, representing the company's first investment in the United Kingdom. He has held numerous CEO positions at companies for over ten years and serves as a non-executive director on various company Boards in South Africa and the United Kingdom.
