About me

I am a senior clothing designer with 17 years experience in the fashion industry. I offer a full range of integrated brand development and comprehensive product design and support services within clothing design and garment sampling.

Over the last 17 years I have covered all aspects of garment product design, collection development and branding. As a senior designer I have worked on collections for high profile clients such as Next, M&M Direct, Republic and Joe Browns. I have also worked extensively for House of Fraser on their 'in house' brands such as Biba, Maison de Nimes, Label lab and Linea plus many more.

I have created ranges for young fashion, womenswear and menswear.

I have a vast and in-depth knowledge of the product design processes. This ranges from conception and research through to product development and finally onto completed garments being sent out to retail. Tasks include mood board creation and professional presentations, garment CAD's, technical spec sheets, sample development, issuing comments from sample meetings and approvals of production samples.

I have great communication skills and regularly manage relationships with both clients and manufacturers.

I excel at being a resourceful team player and have built many trusting relationships with clients and colleagues alike. I also work well independently. This is reflected in my current role which is predominantly remote working.

I am a confident and enthusiastic individual who is quick to pick up new concepts and ideas.
