About me

IMy work as a freelance Copywriter/Marketing Consultant for a successful matchmaking company has developed my ability to write and develop marketing concepts for a target audience on extremely tight deadlines while researching unfamiliar territory. I also understand the broadcast communications industry very well as I was the Writer/Production Coordinator of an environmentally friendly Lifestyle TV series in Canada. This series involved researching and writing for both a specific audience (the 'green' community) but as well as appealing to the general viewer. I also have exceptional organizational skills as I assembled the shoot for the 13 episode TV series including scheduling crew, locations and developing sponsor partnerships. While working in New York in the film development department of a production company, I was involved in the marketing of the film to financers. I helped develop a strategy, wrote pitches and proposals as well as created a power point presentation for the producer.

Although I am a self starter, I work extremely well in a team environment and enjoy with other creative individuals. I have an in depth knowledge of story structure which enables me to write accurate and valuable material for a particular audience.
