ABOUT

"At 3am on the forth night of photographing empty, piss-stained and foul-smelling underpasses across England, I suddenly had an epiphany: my friend Karl (of the band, 'underworld') was JOKING when he suggested to me that we do a book of desolate, night-time, urban landscapes together: me doing the pictures and him doing the words.
I’d rushed out with camera in hand after Karl called to ask how many underpasses I’d shot already and I’d lied, ‘Ur, loads: send you some soon’
An idea sparked from the album cover I shot for Karl’s debut solo ‘Edgeland’

After shooting a few unerpasses, i called Karl back and said ‘its (actually) going really well: I’ve shot load (now)’ and when he said, ‘what?’
I knew I was right: I had been DUPED into a wild goose chase of underpasses at night...
but actually, it WAS still the plan.
I’ve photographed over 200 underpasses across England: I’m an expert in underpasses now.
I’m like an exciting, train-spotter version of underpass hunter.
'Tunnel Vision' is the printed culmination of the 'Adventures into Underpasses'
Urban landscapes of empty English Underpasses, at night
accompanied by graffitied text and wisdoms collected on our travels
