COVID-19 dramatically changed the Super Bowl experience, imposing limitations both in stadium and at home.

Using the power of Verizon 5G and Fortnite builders, the campaign brought Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium to life in one of gaming’s most exciting titles: Fortnite. On Twitter, the campaign recreated fan-favorite Super Bowl moments, including player meet and greets and giveaways. By going virtual, Verizon created a more connected Super Bowl experience than ever before.

40M players witnessed the stadium in game, 2M+ tuned in on Twitch, 1.5M played stadium games, resulting in Verizon being the most discussed telco during Super Bowl week.
