About me
I am a passionate and ambitious creative individual who thrives on visualising the world differently. I've been producing, directing, curating, commissioning and marketing visually led content for some of the world's most recognisable brands from Lucasfilm, Panasonic, DJI, Hasselblad, Adobe, Visit California and Ecotricity to name a few. I have a deep understanding of visual culture and content and empower everyone that I work with.
Throughout my career I have a proven track record of strategically producing award-winning creative concepts that has led to the expansion and profitability of businesses I've been employed with. I have led teams of strategists and production teams to deliver content for under and above the line use for brands and NGO's. Outside of my professional life, I have launched a self published photography magazine, Darwin whilst in education, and I research and produce my own photographic projects around subjects like identity, gender, community and popular culture. You can find my running, exploring green spaces and fuelling my love of science fiction.
As a photographer myself (graduated in 2014 studying photographic art) and running my own photography magazine () , I understand what works visually to engage and stimulate people into wanting to emotionally commit to something. Due to Darwin and my active role in the photography community, I have a large contact list of photographers, directors, stylists and other studio production creatives who I can rely on when needed for paid work.
Where I gained a good portion of my knowledge in the photography world was during my time at 1854 Media (British Journal of Photography). I helped launch Studio 1854, 1854 Media's internal agency. Here, I came up with creative content led campaigns for brands which met their wants and needs for engaging
I came up with and secured funding for multiple content led (photography & video) campaigns with recognizable brands such as; Panasonic, Visit California, Ecotricity, DJI, Lucasfilm. With all of these campaigns, I secured the photographic talent to produce compelling and powerful imagery via a submissions portal set up within 1854 Media. I selected the best creatives for the job as well as inviting contacts to submit work for consideration for the commissions.
This led naturally to having an on hands role working directly with them to ensure their creative vision was achievable. I provided creative and professional support for all of the photographers, and provided creative guidance for their post production processes. This experience was a continuation from one of my previous roles at theprintspace where I would help oversee customer files to ensure they were edited and saved currently for print. I learnt this skills on the go as well as when I needed to learn certain skills for my own photographic endevours -Harry-rosermat
After achieving all I wanted to achieve at 1854 Media, I wanted a deeper role working with creative and influential talent. This led me to my time at Kintzing, a photography agency. Whilst at Kintzing, I helped manage photographers and videographers. Due to my background at 1854 Media and the work I had done there, I was entrusted with supporting each creative portfolio, securing meetings and work. I was able to generate meaningful and trusted relationships with all of the creatives I worked with, gaining a deep understanding of their wants and trajectory and being able to facilitate what they wanted to achieve.
