About me

I have recently finished my Film and Video BA (Hons) degree at Newport Film School (UWN) and I am now looking to use my skills in the industry that I am so passionate about.

As an extremely enthusiastic and skilled graduate with a great thirst to learn more about post production, this role seems to be a perfect next step for my career. At university I specialised in post production and edited every group project throughout my three year degree and so I have a lot of experience using non-linear editing programs including Adobe Premiere Pro and some experience with Final Cut Pro and Avid. I also have a good knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator for motion graphics work and visual effects, all of which have been utilised professionally when producing videos as a freelancer for garden designer's websites and another corporate video for D7 Recruitment.

My past achievements include a Best Film award at 'Lights, Camera, Coursework' at the Watershed Media Centre on March 29th 2004 and my graduation film was awarded the highest grade in the year. My graduation film was also chosen to be screened at the 'Graduation Screening 2007' at the NFT (National Film Theatre, London).

I have excellent interpersonal skills, strong leadership ability, and I enjoy working as part of a team as well as working on my own. I also have a flare for creativity and passion for making high quality products, using my initiative to solve problems and experience to work efficiently.
