Hamza Ranjha Content Producer

ABOUT

Concept:
To inform the Social Media followers of the newly selected BBC Future Sounds artists. I was asked to record an interview with one of the artists and create an IGTV edit which would help promote the artists music and be informative and appealing to the BBC Asian Network audience.

Execution:
I was given the built in studio camera equipment at the BBC Radio studios which includes 3 still cameras and a live trigger mixer. As I had 2 interviewers and 1 interviewee, I set up 1 camera on each subject being careful to ensure the studio was looking clean and professional as well as the microphone branding being clearly visible without covering too much of the subjects face/mouth.
I then edited the IGTV in post production, including clips of the singers music videos as well as images of the topic of conversation taken from her social media. I also colour/graded the video to further improve the visual appeal of the post.
As the studio has a live trigger mixer, I had done the camera switches live during the interview.

Result:
The IGTV Post received an excellent response from the BBC Radio Visual Productions & Social Media teams and was shared and posted by a number of Presenters at BBC Radio.
