About me

I am currently studying at the London College of Fashion doing a BA (Sportswear). I am writing this because I know that your label is driven by fairly traded, beautiful and natural fabrics with a story to tell. I did my research about your sales and customer experience and how dignified it is. And the designs are very classic and thoughtful and hence which I'm very motivated for an opportunity if granted.

I am still learning in-depth about pattern cutting and sewing which are being taught in my course, as well as digitally enhanced technologies like Optitex, is been taught so that it is easy to assemble clothes into a 3D format.One of my latest activities was an internship for the summer at Baroda Prints to learn more about pattern cutting and measuring blocks.

Due to my present job as a part-time Sales Assistant at J.D Sports, I learned as to how to support the retail team with information for the stock of a weekly update for stores. Drive sales, ensuring that targets are achieved. Utilize in the in-store devices, offering the customer the whole product range. Provide alternatives and add on sales at every opportunity.

I also worked part-time under a designer as a Client Advisor which led me to learn to as a team-player and engaging in all activities contributing to the overall objectives of the store -Engage with Clients to develop long-term relationships, leveraging different clienteling tools, to foster brand loyalty.

While I was working as a Junior Designer Assistant, I had to use Adobe software to compose mood boards and coordinate vendor presentations for new products and materials. File and organize fabrics and materials and gathering fabric samples, availability, and pricing and to maintain fabric and materials library.

In conclusion, due to my past experiences and developing skills I would be an appropriate candidate for the internship. I can work part-time during term hours and full-time during holidays, however, for Dips year, I can do a full-time internship.
