About me

A little about me. I have primarily been a performer for the last 7 years, singing, acting & dancing all over the world. I also trained in Media (Moving Image) and prior to the performance route, I worked as a web designer for ITV Channel Television. I've been able to carry those skills with me during my performance life and it's been a great way to stay up to date, creative, productive and earn extra money on the side in between performing work. I've seen the world, and it has been wonderful but after settling in Dartford I'm looking for the next chapter career wise and staying close to the creative and productive challenge is really important to me.

I've been self-employed since 2010 and regularly use Adobe Photoshop & Indesign in creating promotional material (both online/social media and print), administrative forms, websites, documentation for training purposes and much more. I have always had to produce marketing content for my own work, when I haven't been performing and am very well adept at working with others to reach the same goal. I worked closely with the sales/marketing team whilst working at ITV as a web designer and most recently contracted for a large corporate company in London, collaborating with the team for a content migration project which included the design and development of over 17 websites for all markets across the world. Because of my performance history, and therefore deemed the most engaging, I was selected to be the head trainer to carry out training for all markets after their sites were completed. I am engaging, fun, will take initiative and always strive for the best.

I also provide support for website content and creation for a floral carnival in the Channel Islands, along with taking on the role of entertainment & marketing liaison press officer, organising stage events and managing various acts to perform throughout the day. From the booking of the stage/ acts/equipment to scheduling, dressing up the stage and designing the logo for the event, promoting on social media, writing press releases, appearing on local news/radio channels to promote and then hosting the event too.

As you can see from above, I get involved. Mainly because I'm not afraid to jump in and help in as many areas as possible. Whilst a performer on a cruise ship, I created and produced many videos for various other needs around the ship, as a favour. I originally only helped with the website for the floral carnival, they needed a table plan for the annual function dinner: I offered. I'll get involved in anything and everything and believe I could be a valued member of any team, also adding 'video editor' to the list of attributes which could be wonderful for some added promotion.

After working self-employed, part as a performer/part web design/video editor/social media/graphic designer etc, I am looking to firmly establish myself within a team and embark on a career in which I can grow and flourish.
