About me

I have over eighteen years of experience as a senior graphic designer and art director. I have worked across a large range of creative sectors including, advertising, branding, retail, packaging, publishing, direct and digital marketing. I have spent the last year working in digital marketing for Funnel 8 - one of Facebooks leading marketing agencies.

My skill set covers all elements of design, art direction, concepting, mac operating, retouching, illustration and small amounts of copywriting. I am a fast and detailed worker with an excellent knowledge of the traditional adobe suite and recently I have added After Effects, Premier Pro and Adobe XD.

I always strive to expand my experience and learning. I have spent the last year working for a digital marketing agency doing creative ads for Facebook and Instagram. This required creative concepts, videos, copy and advertorials for broadband, finance, energy and insurance clients amongst others.

Prior to this I had an 18 month contract with the National Trust as their retail and packing designer at their UK head office. Before this and since I have worked as a freelancer on long term contracts with regular clients such as Golley Slater and Avvio Reply. I spent ten years New Zealand working at The Pond (a creative resource agency in Auckland) and a senior in-house designer/art director for RAPP, DDB, LOWE and DRAFT NZ.

I am very adaptable and have a lot of experience working in different creative fields with a wide variety of national and international clients. I have my own equipment - MacBook Pro and have spent the last eight years either working from home or at agency offices.
