This is the work that pays the bills!

I shoot table top and product commercials. This is a montage of shots from a series of commercials shot for Currys PCWorld through agency AMVBBDO London.

The turnaround for these commercials is incredibly quick. The budgets are very tight. So to make the product shots look great was no small task.

All the effects, the laptops opening, the products animating, the screens of the 2-in-1 tablets detaching were all done in-camera, the traditional stop frame method. The beauty of the digital age meant we could incorporate a process, I call Live Action animation. This allowed us to slip the sync of the animation anywhere within the timeline, rather than with conventional stop frame, the moment the object animates, is fixed.
