About me

I am a versatile UX and interaction designer who enjoys solving problems and creating solutions for desktop, mobile and app users. I have sound knowledge in many areas of UX including user-centred and interaction design, information architecture and visual design.

In the projects that I have undertaken in my job roles to date, I have endeavoured to understand the problems and needs of the user by way of discovery, matching the method of research to the type of project being worked on but taking into consideration project timelines, budget, available technology and overall specifications before moving onto ideating and testing my concepts. My approach is user-centred and best-practice led in all aspects to ensure that final deliverables are fit for purpose.

I use many of the most commonly used UX and UI digital tools including Sketch, InVision, Axure and Balsamiq to create my wireframes and prototypes but I am always trying to learn something new so the I can increase my throughput and bring something new to the table.

I also have a good knowledge of agile ways of working and have worked and collaborated with multi-disciplinary teams in order to produce end products that meet customer and business needs. I have also most recently worked in the public sector where I implemented GDS guidelines into my designs at each step of the process.

I hope to get the opportunity to speak with you at a later date to discuss what more I can offer you in the near future.
