About me

I am an English Literature graduate who graduated with a 2:1. I'm a very outgoing, confident and bubbly young woman. I'm very passionate by nature and personally feel like I cannot do a job that I don't love. I want to build a career and want to love coming to work and I really believe this position will open many doors for me and help me gain many valuable skills.

I love social media. I love to watch beauty and fashion related content and keep up to date with my favourite influencers. I love watching and producing content which I find to be entertaining.I believe I write engaging content which you will hopefully see when reading my articles. I love to write about topics that I'm passionate about, mostly topics relating to women such as body image issues, self care, relationships, beauty and fashion. However, I can write about various other topics such as travel, career and nutrition. Three of my pieces where I discuss personal accounts such as body image and relationships are published on " She, Rose" a website that publishes articles about women's issues. I have attached these to my resume.

I am currently working as a Client Executive for Allport Cargo Services where I work with established fashion retailers. On a day to day basis I work with the buying team, the suppliers and origin teams to ensure shipments are managed efficiently. I manage various Client Accounts which include Fat Face, River Islandand Dune and will soon be taking on Boden as well, I am proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and use these tools on a daily basis. Most of my networking is done through emailing so I have excellent written communication skills.

I also have a lot of experience working within the beauty and fashion industry through my roles as a Sales Assistant at established retailers like French Connection, Kiko Milano and River Island. I was once awarded employee of the month at French Connection due to reaching the highest level of sales than any other employee in the store.
