About me

I'll be perfectly honest. I'm a 'word nerd'. My interest in copywriting began when, as a child, I read the back of a shampoo bottle and was amazed that someone could be paid to write something so many people would see. Now that I get that opportunity on a daily basis, the thought that my words could be read by thousands of people makes my brain fizz.

I'm a freelance copywriter with more than a decade's worth of experience working across any application of copy you can imagine. I'm very comfortable working in the brand space, creating ad campaigns across any media, writing tone of voice documents, writing for web, apps and UX, defining social media copy strategy or editing and rewriting longer work.

I believe really great copy not only sells (or achieves its stated objective), but also gives something back to the reader: A smile, a thought, a new perspective.
