About me

My name is Ava Coffen, I have just recently moved to London at the start of February all the way from Melbourne, Australia.

I am currently looking for more work as I have sporadic casual job as a signed part time model & model scout for a casting & talent development agency. Given the state of the world at the moment I am looking into other areas I am trained and skilled in for work.

I would like to pick up more hours during the week when I'm not modelling & freelance styling to keep proactive, inspired, creative and have a consistent income. I have a large history of experience in retail, styling, Editorial & Commercial studio production, social media creative content & direction/web development, talent booking, archiving, auctioning antiquities/vintage, management, admin, invoicing, stock keeping/control, shop assisting & general space maintenance/cleaning.

My experience aligns well with many creative positions requirements, as I have worked within the fashion and entertainment industry, styling, shooting, mood boarding and production planning with a creative team, booking, coordinating/planning & casting for shoots & studio for the last 2 years. Not only have I been a major backbone of these creative processes of these shoots. I have also had a few years in front of a camera as a signed international model myself. This has ensured that I have a strong personal understanding of how serious media and advertising can be, such as having a completely planned & strong vision, how to present yourself to clients as well as being punctual.

Aside from working in fashion, I have also had experience booking musicians and creative talent for high capacity events and for studio time. I worked as administration, venue coordinator & and artist booker at one Australia's most renowned music recording & film studios, & I interned briefly at an artists and talent management agency.

I believe what I can bring to the table is a broad knowledge of future creative trends & aesthetics that cross over multiple industries, personal contacts within fashion, music and film industry, basic understanding of legal documents required for working within advertising & creative industries, a passion for artistic individuality both visually and mentally, I am good honest and to the point communicator (which enhances and builds great Relationships with colleagues/clients), I have strong and ever growing social media & computer/IT, Microsoft Office, Adobe and HTML skills, Savvy with social media/creative content directions along with weekly planning, Certificates I-IIII in Business and Music Industries.

I am the type of person who is use to working around the clock to get the best outcomes & results to everything I apply myself too, and overall I have a personal care, respect and empathy for the people that I work with, which I think is easily lost in such a fast paced industry.
