About me

I am a Journalism graduate with nearly one and a half year's of experience as a Features Writer for lifestyle magazines where I am required to write long & short copy on an array of contemporary topics. My current writing role is composed of 50% advertorials and 50% features and covers beauty, fashion, dating, restaurant reviews, interiors, travel, new business and launch party coverage. I am accustomed to writing, proof-reading & editing my own material for a variation of mediums & am able to adopt my writing style according to the intended consumer market. I have also developed the ability to quickly gain an understanding and insight into any given business or industry and consequently write about it effectively and in keeping with the clients vision.

As well as writing features for a magazine I have undertaken freelance work for new businesses, ie restaurants, male only lifestyle consultancy and entertainment agency, and written their brochures, advertorials, press releases and any associated promotional material.

I possess excellent communication skills & the ability to build rapport quickly & successfully. Due to an imminent move to London, I am now seeking a new position where I can apply her varied writing skills, creativity and dedication with an established publication, advertising agency or brand. 1-2 week notice period.
