About me
Currently, I am working as a Senior User Experience for CodeGen International.
I chose this path because I have painting skills from childhood. So, I decided to pursue my artistic skills and become a User Experience Engineer after successfully following an Information Technology degree.
I am a core member of the 2 main projects of current working company - CodeGen (FDM-Travel, YasIsland)
In Project FDM travel, I got the opportunity to create a Hotel, Flight, Package and Transfer flow wireframe designs and then design the whole booking flow. After the designs, I have created HTML/CSS components for the system using the atomic design concept.
Currently, I am working with a team of about 20 which consists of software architects, tech leads, business analysts, software and QA engineers (Yas Island). I am the only full-stack UI Engineer in the team which I am proud to mention. It is because I enjoy working on both Designing and developing HTML components, taking responsibility and the ownership of all designing until and after they go live.
In YasIsland project, the main challenge I had was to create different themes. YAS, Warner Brothers, Ferrari World, YAS Waterworld, Yas Marina Mall, and Dubai Holdings are the main clients who are accessing our booking engine. So, I had to create different themes for the booking system when users access from different client sites. Using proper Sass architecture and gulp task I was able to successfully generate different themes from a common location.
If I describe myself, I am a person who works hard and pays attention to every detail. I'm flexible, quick to pick up new skills and eager to learn from others. In my perspective, the strongest skill I have is learning things fast and having a good eye. And I can proudly say that our team members looked up to me as the best designer.
I love to keep up with industry trends. Hence, I discuss and get involved in implementing Web standards, best practices, and new concepts. As a result of that, I was able to introduce "BEM" Naming standard and "Atomic Design" concept to the current working company.
In addition, as an experiment, I have created a Sass starter pack based on ITCSS with proper SCSS structure to use all the web systems that are developing inside CodeGen. It was very successful, and all projects use it as the starter.
I am always concerned about best practices, web standards, speed performance, and clean code when it comes to developing HTML components.
I am practicing to design sprint with UX team members and It helps me to design simple user-friendly flows.
Besides that, 5-year work experience, I also got the opportunity to mentor the junior designers and Front-end developers and review their work and participate in UX engineer recruitment interviews at the company.
I'm keen to work for a company with a great reputation with great people where I can always learn new things and especially be part of the success story behind the company as well as the customers of the company. I strongly believe that this is the right place for me, and I would appreciate if you could consider my application for this job opening. Thank you.
