Inspired by the Cyberpunk aesthetics of science fiction cinema, placed between painting and photography, the images tell their own story, one about love, passion, and death—a story of human nature.

"Postcards from the Disconnect" form an allegory of the technological alienation we experience today. They offer a critical and occasionally anecdotal perspective on the way we live nowadays. These postcards serve as a reflection on how we engage with technology and as an invitation to introspect both as individuals and as a society.

Like cavern inhabitants, we see the shadows of the real world through our devices. We interact through avatars and usernames. We feel every negative comment or dislike with the force of a blow to the stomach. Our day-to-day life has become a constant journey between two realities, one virtual and the other tangible.
