About me

I have 9 years' experience working as a receptionist & switchboard operator at The Harley Street Clinic inpatients and outpatients' buildings which involve liaising with all the different departments within the hospital as well as other hospitals along with booking transport, couriers and patients' appointments. Requesting reports and updating the computer system with the existing patient's details and registering new patients.

I am a very motivated person and can adapt to any situation/working environment, I'm always ready to learn new things to help better my work. I am able to prioritise workloads as I am always working against a deadline and can work well in high-pressure environments. I am able to work well by myself or as part of a team, I am a peoples' person able to get along with everybody, having experience of working with people from different cultures and background this has had a positive effect on my work as it has allowed me to develop an effective communication rapport with people through emails, telephone call and face to face interactions.

I understand the importance of confidentiality and I am familiar with the GDPR Act which has replaced the Data Protection Act. Whilst dealing with confidential patient files daily, my role required me to participate in regular training to stay constantly aware of data handling in accordance with GDPR. I understand the importance of accessing and handling data securely.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, baking and travelling. Most recently I volunteered to bake cakes for the opening of a new section if my local park.
