About me

My name is Alejandra López, I have both a Colombian and Spanish (European) nationality and I am willing and able to move to England in order to pursue a career there as soon as necessary. I am currently working as an english teacher here in Bogotá, teaching businessmen working in different companies. As a Gastronomy graduate I am very interested in changing jobs and truly using my degree, I'd like to find a job related to the investigation of food studies for either a company or a NGO, as well as Research and Development of food products for the industry or Food Journalism.

I studied Gastronomy (Gastronomía) in the Universidad de La Sabana, a 4 year long professional degree focused on food through four areas: Food Studies (area which analyzes the political, economic, historic, social and cultural aspects of food), Food Science (microbiology, agricultural food chains, biochemistry, sensory analysis, HSEQ), Business Administration focused on the gastronomic market and Cuisine.
