About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have graduated from the University of Bradford with a 1st class honours degree in Computer Animation and have recently ended an animation contract at MPC London where I was working on a feature film as part of the roto team, creating animations for the feature film "Cats".

I have finished a six-month internship with documentary film company, Plasm Productions, where I was the only 3D modeller and animator, creating content for a short film.

I have worked on various team-based projects. One involved the creation of a VR game developed for both Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. This was made with a team of multinational members. This project won first prize as part of the University, School of Media, Design and Technology game jam design competition out of six teams.

My background also includes developing a game for PC and Android about weather that was showcased as part of the National Media Museum's Yorkshire Games Festival. Here we needed strong time management skills as we had to complete the project in just 24 hours. Following this, we had to present our game to a number of Industry related judges as well as members of the public. I gained valuable experience and was able to get some excellent user feedback which I used in my future projects.

This skill of presenting to both users and industry professionals benefited me greatly. For instance, I was able to use it on my return to Ireland when I was asked to give a talk on the animation pipeline at the local Upperchurch Culture Festival in 2018.

I would be greatly interested in learning more from your development team and studying under you as I have seen the incredible work that you have created. My dream is to work in this industry and I want to drive forward and learn all I can about animation, building on my experiences and developing further as part of a strong creative team.

I am a reliable, hardworking and punctual individual. I always aspire to work with like-minded individuals on new and exciting projects.
