About me

My name is Abeer Maktabi and I am a fresh graduate in Graphic Design. I am currently seeking for a challenging design company, which will allow me demonstrate my special skills. My qualities include a strong sense of creativity and responsibility in my work, in which they include "meeting deadlines" and "being patient". Speaking 3 different languages (English, French and Arabic), I find myself easily integrated in different environments and cultures. After attending several conferences and traveling to several countries, I have a very strong desire to develop my imagination and my day-to-day experiences into my work. Also, my personal experience in the fashion industry gave me a better view about the marketing and the brand management world. Dealing with that as a graphic designer, I found it interesting to familiarize with different materials, with brands, and with the colors/moods/typography/style..used for each brand. I got also aware of the close relationship between graphics and fashion in terms of trend and image. For example, developing new concepts for brands, was one of my most pleasant and exciting experiences. However, at the moment, I would like to broaden my creativity to something completely new and challenging.
