About me
I am a Designer with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design Engineering obtained from The Hague University. I am relocating to London and looking for new opportunities within innovation.
Throughout my life, I have always had a passion for design and innovation, from Lego and art as a young child, through to graphic design and photography in high school, to product and social design now. As an experienced designer with a desire to use innovation to be socially responsible, I am currently working on numerous innovative ventures which focus on addressing the pre-existing humanitarian crises to help provide relief to the individuals who are so heavily affected by them. This includes my position as founder and sustainable product development manager for TukAid, my startup, where I have had a very hands-on role focussing on the development of TukAid through all aspects of design, research, prototyping and implementation. However, I additionally conduct user research, location analysis and lead the applications and networking entailed in gaining funding and connections to help the progression of TukAid, where I have already secured over €20.000 in subsidiaries. I have a wide range of abilities within design, including, but not limited to; UX/UI, graphic, product, industrial, visual, web and social design. My specialisation is within product design and development, where I aim to design sustainable products to help improve the lives of others.
As a dynamic, proactive, confident, organised, creative and innovative individual, I thrive from new challenges and rewarding objectives. I pride myself on completing work and tasks to the very best of standards whilst being focussed and extremely hard working. I have a professional attitude to the work environment and can manage workload excellently whilst also being able to appropriately delegate others within a team. I prosper from working in demanding situations in combination with the skills needed to be an excellent team player, yet equally capable of working using my own initiative.
