ABOUT

This photograph was taken whilst location shooting for a new project I was working on at the time. The project portrayed the seasonal tendencies and restrictions faced growing up on the Isle of Wight; 23 miles of beautiful landscapes, some very unique people and a reluctant attitude 20 years behind the rest of the country. I thought I knew everything about the place I grew up in but this work opened my eyes to so much more. It was eventually shot on medium format so this image didn't make the cut, but I think about it a lot. Who knew how dark that cloud would turn out to be.
