ABOUT
Migration Rhythm Stories – Spreading Wings, Finding Home"
(Exploring resilience, independence, and personal growth in Hanoi.)
Commissioned by PositiveNegatives for PRIO, this animation explores the power of modest change in shaping confidence, independence, and long-term contentment. Set in Hanoi, it follows a woman in her 60s, alongside her daughter and grandchild, illustrating how small steps and financial savviness can create meaningful, lasting impact across generations.
The animation embraces Hanoi’s rich cultural atmosphere, using delicate environmental details such as birds flapping in the distance, dust motes drifting through the air, swaying grass, and raindrops falling gently. These elements, combined with Richard Hughes's sound design, enhance the narrative’s introspective and emotional depth.
