About me

As a graduate of the Manchester School of Art; I believe this opportunity will enable me to capitalise on my qualifications and professional experience and allow me to advance my career within the fashion industry. The position is an ideal opportunity for progression of my relevant experience and achievement within fashion.

As evident in my enclosed CV, I have completed a BA Honours Degree in Fashion at Manchester Metropolitan University. Here I learned how to make a design come alive through illustration, sampling and toiling and how to turn an idea into a walking piece of art. My dissertation "Can dyslexia influence a creative mind" really captivated me and opened my eyes to the power of the mind and the possibilities of how this can have an effect on our creativity. Taking part in fashion shows and showing my own collections was an amazing way to finalise each project and see our achievements and progression.

During my time working in the fashion industry, I have so far gained extensive experience in design, knowledge of Photoshop, fabric sourcing, excellent communicating and negotiating skills and great team working skills.

I pride myself in being hard working, enthusiastic and highly passionate about the fashion industry.
