About me
As you will see from my CV I possess an unusual and rare lengthy catalogue of experience and knowledge. Currently employed as a Studio Manager for a pharmaceutical promotions and marketing company, my role has entailed moving the studio of 4 designers forward by developing several quality control systems and generating methods to improve studio turnover and creative output from 40 hours a week charged to over 100 hours. Having successfully exceeded all expectations and vastly improving the service and creative performance offered by the studio through excellent communication and organisation, I seek a fresh and challenging role, preferably where I can exercise my creative project management skills more intensively and utilise my interpersonal skills, client facing experience and contacts within a variety of media industries. My software and hardware experience is vast, and this is coupled by technical expertise gained from years of troubleshooting and also gaining relevant technical qualifications on a part-time basis. My software catalogue includes.... QuarkXpress, Freehand, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, In-Design, Acrobat, ISDN Manager, ADS, WhamNet, Cinema4d and Microsoft Office. And evidence of this knowledge is proven by having part-time lectured in multi-media at Colleges for some time. With regards to hardware, I have seen the Apple Mac develop from the Mac Plus right through to the latest G5s and associated peripherals. I have also grown with the PC from the old favourable 286 through to the latest P4s.
My personality being very outgoing and friendly, is coupled by my hard-working and enthusiastic working ethic. Fully understanding and respecting their working methods, I have liaised with sales and administration teams for a large amount of my career, communicating not only with UK based offices but also offices in both the USA and Hong Kong. My customer liaison skills and creative brainstorming techniques have proven essential in my creative roles and some of the blue chip companies which I have had involvement with are.... Orange, Tate Gallery, Boots, Pfizer, Aventis, Sanofi, Abbott, Astra Zeneca, Man Utd., Electrolux, Snap-on, Greene King, Halfords, Woolworths and COI (security exam papers) to name a few.
