About me

My name is Nicole Musumeci and I have just moved to London. I completed a Diploma in Interior Design at The Commercial Arts Training College, Brisbane, Australia in 2004. During my studies I independently carried out jobs for clients, such as an office redesign, including client and tradesperson liaising, space planning, furniture and office designs, job folders and client presentations and boards. As well as working alongside other students, these included a residential home where we carried out on site surveying, kitchen designs, addition of an outdoor patio, colours, flooring and lighting selections and client presentations.

I enjoyed working as a team and decided to continue with Freelance work on the completion of my course. During this time I fulfilled another passion of mine and created my own beaded jewellery line supplying to boutiques and markets.

During my time as a freelance Interior Designer and Jewellery

Designer/supplier, I gained an extensive range of skills and found great self gratification. Time management, efficiency, initiative, preparation of quotes and management of stock spreadsheets, were just a few skills gained within this time.

I have come to London to work in an area I believe is leading in interior design. I think the area of interior design in England would provide me with exciting project opportunities and wonderful design options to work with. I am looking forward to to working alongside designers and broadening my knowledge.
