About me
I have studied Art and Design at different institutions since leaving school in 2003, achieving two design based qualifications. In 2016 I made the decision to go back to university to complete a BA Hons Degree in Graphic Design to pursue a career in this field. I have had to overcome many obstacles to achieve this as a mature student over the past 3 years but I have had the determination, motivation and support, which will soon lead me to be graduating in June 2019 with excellent results.I have worked with the Adobe Creative Suite throughout my time studying in education and have a sound knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I have developed on the majority of my projects shown in my portfolio and I am keen to develop this further in exciting new projects.
I consider myself to be a highly organised individual with good time management skills, learning from my previous positions and personal life experiences from a successful fast paced logistics role at a financial data company to being a proud new dad. I have demonstrated throughout my working life that I can work to tight deadlines in a logical and methodical order, a skill that I consider vital in the design industry. I believe that my attention to detail in my work is what sets me apart from other designers.
