After I graduated from University in London, I have done several internships in Japan, France, and Italy. I worked in a knitting company in Milan, Italy, as men's and women's fashion designer, knitwear designer and production controller and had been there for 5 years. Currently, I am doing a master's course to develop my creativity as a designer at the Royal College of Art in London.
Through my career as designer and academy background I have acquired knowledge and practical experiences about designing knitted and woven garments and textiles. I also have learnt techniques to produce creative woven and knitted products using handy looms, whole garment knitting machines (SHIMASEIKI), domestic and industrial machines as well. In addition to designing products, I also have experienced to control products, and communicate with clients and suppliers.
I studied textile design in Musashino Art University in Japan, and in Chelsea College, University of the Arts London, in UK. In Japan, I focused on learning woven textiles, and in the UK I studied knitted textiles. At the same time, I started my career as a textile artist and a designer.
