About me

I have wanted to forge a career in Production since I was young enough to understand what the job is. Organizing and planning are qualities that come naturally to me, and combining that with my love of film and TV has meant that no other career appeals to me in the same way.

My University degree in Religion, Philosophy and Ethics enabled me to refine crucial production skills such as time management, multi-tasking and problem solving. I wrote my dissertation on the relationship between philosophy and film, which further enhanced my love and fascination with film. Upon graduating from University, I threw myself into the industry as fast as possible.

In September 2015, I was employed by R/GA, a digital media agency in London as a Production Assistant within their Content Studio. The clients ranged from Unilever to Nike, and the kind of content produced was just as varied. I assisted with the production of TVCs, print campaigns, 360 videos, website launches, social media content and animation series. I developed an excellent foundation of skills, including scheduling, budgeting, travel planning and contract drafting. I also produced several smaller projects myself, including a series of audio content, pitch films and storyboards. Working at R/GA allowed me to hit the ground running, and production proved to be just as exciting and varied as I had hoped.

In January 2017 I began a new job as a Production Manager at Pukka Films, a production company specializing in corporate dramas. In this role, I have been exposed to all aspects of hands-on production, and have discovered a particular thrill in the busy days leading up to a shoot. My work at Pukka Films has taken me on countless video shoots, including several trips abroad to Italy, Malta and Belgium. During these weeklong filming trips, I usually made up one half of a two-person production team, and had endless responsibilities. These included planning and arranging travel for all crew and cast, producing call sheets and schedules, assisting with props and costume, and many other tasks. I flourish in the haste and rush of shoots, and would very much like to continue working at that pace.

Having experienced the advertising and corporate video sectors and gaining an excellent set of production skills, am now looking for a new challenge. I believe I would be an asset to your team, and would come armed with everything I have learned from the industry so far. I am I hard, fast worker, and I am confident in my abilities and my thirst to learn more.
