About me

My name is Araí Moleri, I'm from Montevideo, Uruguay.
Based in Berlin, Germany since 2018.

I have a degree in Product Design, and three years of studies at the Arts University.
I mainly worked as a Photographer and Retoucher since 2010.

Actually I'm mostly working as a food photographer, stylist and retoucher for Hello Fresh, as a photographer and retoucher for the Studio Tomas Saraceno, and fashion retoucher for Jana Gerberding.

In 2010 I studied retouching for fashion and beauty, this knowledge allowed me to improve my level of retouching in all areas.
In the last twelve years, I have worked mainly as a freelance photographer and retoucher in different areas of photography, which brought me into contact with various work teams and many techniques such as portraits, documental, food, architecture, fashion, still life, stop motion, e-commerce, products, jewelry, retouching and personal projects. 
Since I am in Berlin I have worked as a photographer, image retoucher, assistant, and in food styling. For clients like Hello Fresh, Studio Tomas Saraceno, ExBerliner, Jana Gerberding, EyeEm, Fuck Lucky go Happy, Eye Candy, Max Threlfall, among others.
I have experience and I feel comfortable working as part of a team and individually, since in the last 12 years I have worked for projects of different scales. For small clients I have done everything from the idea and production to the final retouching of the images. And in larger scale projects or companies I have worked in teams focusing on one area of the whole process. Which is why I known how to be the photographer, as the assistant, or the retoucher. I am flexible to adapt to different roles and I like it. These experiences allow me to know very well how to schedule, brief and manage different types of photoshoots and retouching.
My mother language is Spanish, I am fluent in English and I am studying German, currently level B1.1.
