About me

Hello!

I have been a storyboard artist and illustrator for over a decade, working mainly from my home studio in North London. After receiving a First for BA (Hons) Illustration from Anglia Ruskin University, I attended short courses in storyboarding at Central St Martins, London and Lighthouse, Brighton. I started out boarding a number of short films in my spare time and now am lucky enough to spend all my time drawing.

I have worked on a wide variety of commercials and film and television projects - some are over in a day, others have continued over several years, such as Merlin, Misfits and Atlantis.

Recently released TV projects include War and Peace and Poldark for BBC One, Victoria and Vanity Fair for ITV1 and Electric Dreams for Channel 4.

The process of storyboarding varies from director to director. Smaller projects are often completed remotely, but I am always happy to meet in person to work through more involved projects. I usually begin by generating some rough thumbnail sketches for approval before completing the finished frames. I draw with pencil on paper, before scanning the images to create a digital storyboard, sometimes adding colour digitally where required.

I have included samples of some of my recent storyboards and illustrations on this site. If there's anything else you'd like to see, or you would like to check my availability, please contact me.
