ABOUT

The Brazilian Northeast is a true postcard of sun and sea, but this cliché perception overshadowed the immense cultural diversity of its nine states. The challenge was to consolidate its image as a unique destination, overcoming stereotypes to reveal a pluralistic and powerful identity capable of competing internationally. The process began with a deep dive into the Northeastern essence. Instead of using known symbols, the strategy identified recurring patterns in its cultural manifestations—rhythmic creativity, genuine hospitality, and the courage to be abundant. From these pillars, "Nordeste Além" (Northeast Beyond) was born, a concept that challenges a deeper, more authentic perspective. This is embodied in a bird, representing freedom and a journey inland. Its design is a geometric mosaic inspired by the region's rich blend of festivals, dances, and arts, creating a symbol for its diversity. The result is a shift in perspective: the Northeast is no longer just a landscape to be contemplated, but a cultural powerhouse to be experienced. The brand provides a versatile system that celebrates the richness of each state, proving the region has always gone beyond a single postcard.
