About me

Born in Indore and brought up in the city of art Vadodara, Gujarat, my love for design began as a young child. I love my art stationeries the most since I was in nursery and I began to draw and paint from a very young age. This eventually led to a degree in Fine Art from Maharaja Sayajiorao University, Vadodara where I specialised in painting.

Post my wedding break and after few years spent both painting and working in an IT firm as a designer, I felt to take my passion of painting seriously and develop my imagination as an artist. During this time, my love for patterns came to the fore once more and I began to create illustrations and surface patterns.

My work is inspired by my travels, nature elements, dreams, being a woman and surroundings. I'm passionate about creating beautiful artworks influenced by nature and surroundings. I see beauty everywhere in every changing phase of nature. Nature has always been the key inspiration for me. Wherever I travel I observe the surrounding and try to imitate the feeling I experienced in an abstract form. My paintings and mix media sketchbook collages often have a mix of natural elements and graphic influences. I love to take natural subjects and re-imagine them into abstract form as well as creating illustrations with the strokes of nature.

All of my designs are named after elements of nature and the feelings that bring within me.

My artwork has been highlighted in past years in many solo and group exhibitions in India, such as Faculty of Fine Art Gallery - Vadodara, Travancore art Palace - New Delhi, Habitat Centre - New Delhi etc.
